Some Carpathian (Vinča) signs were Sacred Symbols that consecrated artefacts. Most of them became Tamgas and evolved into spiraliform motifs when the ability of drawing improved (as happened for the Rovás). The Tamgas were identification signs of Hungarian tribes and of their religion. Most Tamgas were variations of Hungarian Carpathian Sacred Symbols. Some Tamgas only differ for the addition, modification, or deletion of a part of the ancient Symbol or are made of different parts of several Symbols.
The Sacred Symbols represented by the Carpathian signs and by the Tamgas accompanied the Hungarians along their 10.000 year long History (if you accept that the History of peoples must no longer be based on papers and linguistics only, but on Genetics, Archaeology, and Cultural Anthropology, too).
